rockbrain they are all wonderful! I especially love the first copper ore pendant. It's very elegant. That last Fordite is very funky and cool looking. Great job wrapping a pretty unusual shape!

I always like seeing something different, and the setting on the poppy jasper fills that bill. Great job on all as usual.

Guess who didn't do the cooking and dishes? LOL!!! You were busy! You did really great on ALL of them, but the India Green Tree Agate takes the pumpkin pie for me.

A productive weekend for sure ! How did you find time to eat ?
The Fordite is angularly very fun, but I have to agree on the Indian Tree Agate.
I keep looking back & forth between that one & the flint- a somewhat similar wrap, but the Tree agate stands out for some reason.
Thanks for showing them & for the inspiration, Patty

Thank you Robin! I've got some more similar shapes that I've been holding onto. Kind of the same long triangle but with curved sides. I always like seeing something different, and the setting on the poppy jasper fills that bill. Great job on all as usual. Thanks Chris! The poppy is definitely different. I didn't care for it much when I first finished it but it's starting to grow on me. It's a pretty large one as are several of these. Guess who didn't do the cooking and dishes? LOL!!! You were busy! You did really great on ALL of them, but the India Green Tree Agate takes the pumpkin pie for me. Thanks Tela! I didn't do the dishes but I actually made the turkey, a batch of candied yams (we had 2 different ones), baked the potatoes for the mash and made a rather spectacular apple pie. Also did the turkey carcass and made a huge batch of turkey and dumplings. A productive weekend for sure ! How did you find time to eat ? The Fordite is angularly very fun, but I have to agree on the Indian Tree Agate.

Thank you Patty! It would probably be better if I didn't find time to eat but I always do. The tree moss is my favorite too. It's another large one, the cab is almost 1 3/4". I set out making the Polish Flint one for me but I may have to keep the agate.

Boy. My brain is not working. I saw this title several times and never tapped it. Kept thinking someone was making leftover wraps with turkey. And I don't need anymore food ideas. Finally took a look, oooooohhhh, wraps. Gotcha. This looks like a really fun weekend! And also even had time to make a gorgeous pie! I'm jealous for sure. I hope that pie had vanilla ice cream to go with it. As for your turkey wraps, I love them all. My favorites are green tree, hornitos, flint, apple valley, and Fordite. Very nice!

Those are all great. Love the variety of techniques and styles you used. That Montana Agate wrap stole the show for me. Beautiful.

Gary, every single one of these is stunning! I think what I like about your work, is there your ability to take some "standard" techniques your own with different variations. What I admire the most is your creative ability to come up with your own styles - especially in those hammered pieces!

rockbrain Gary, you've rather got me stumped. Each of your wraps is amazing, and each tops the last. Your creativity is excellent, your execution is even better, and I've really just run out of words!

I've had a food overload too. I had a blast making these. Of course I had vanilla ice cream on the pie, the massive amount of fat in all the butter and shortening wasn't quite enough! The green tree is my favorite. I love the Apple Valley material too. I have a lot of nice AV agate also. I guess the jasper is actually a stromatolite. Very nice. The styles in the 4th and 6th photos are my favorites. Thanks James! Those styles are my favorites too. I've finally developed something completely on my own. I stand corrected! You really were busy!!! It was a labor of love! I got some slabs cut too! Those are all great. Love the variety of techniques and styles you used. That Montana Agate wrap stole the show for me. Beautiful. Thanks! I spent a lot of time on that Montana cab and was real happy with how it came out. That was my first cab contest win in Feb. Gorgeous work! The Fordite really caught my eyes. Thank you! I love Fordite. I need to get some different colors. I've almost bit on some green "dragonskin" a couple of times. Gary, every single one of these is stunning! I think what I like about your work, is there your ability to take some "standard" techniques your own with different variations. What I admire the most is your creative ability to come up with your own styles - especially in those hammered pieces! Thanks Jason! I'm so glad I finally came up with something that's completely mine. Love doing the hammered stuff. I like the other wraps I've been doing and keep trying to make changes but they are obviously heavily influenced by Oxana You Tube tutorials. rockbrain Gary, you've rather got me stumped. Each of your wraps is amazing, and each tops the last. Your creativity is excellent, your execution is even better, and I've really just run out of words! Thanks Susan! I really appreciate the kind words! Lots of kyhn words being said of your work, Gary! 👍 Thank you Chris! My favorite comment!
