I hope this is the right place to post this.... I ordered a Mini-sonic MT-10 almost 2 months ago. Still waiting for it to arrive. Has anyone else ordered one and received theirs sooner than a couple of months? I've got a bunch of softer material that will not hold up to rotory tumbling; I plan to tumble the 1st stage in a rotory tumbler and finish with the Mini-sonic. Fingers crossed 🤞 that I'll have it delivered soon. In the mean time, I will continue to build up the pre-tumbled rock in anticipation.

I would think 2 months is more than excessive!
Where did you order it from?

I ordered from SUVA Lapidary. They are still within their quoted time frame of 4-12 weeks to be drop shipped. I was just hoping it would come sooner. I guess I'm just being impatient.

Rock Shed gives out a similar wait time.
You'll get through the material more quickly than you can build up a queue once you get it!
Hope you get it soon, and congrats in advance!

Got my shipping notice the other day. It's out for delivery. I had spoken with Diamond Pacific last week, she was telling me how they were swamped with orders and filling them as soon as possible. I can't wait to use it!

Sorry...didn't catch your response when you posted it! Glad to hear you got the shipping notice!! With regards to tumbling and tumblers...think of this as your first lesson in patience...'cause you need a LOT of it when tumbling rocks! LOL

I was indeed excited. They shipped it fast. Sent out on Friday of last week, received it Tuesday. Now comes the real patience test, my wife told me that I have to put it under the Christmas tree. It's so close, yet so far away...

Did she specifically say you couldn't plug it in? The hum shouldn't bother the festivities and by Christmas day you should have your first batch done and be well into your second. Enjoy.

I was able to open my Mini-sonic MT-10 on Christmas Eve (of course i was using it within the night). If I ever figure out posting pics, I'll put some up. So far I love this tumbler. I started a batch of mixed jaspers in 120/220 stage, let that run about 2-1/2 days. Looked fine. Moved to 500 S/C (I need to get some 500AO). Those are going great too. I was worried I would have to add water to the hopper often but really haven't. A nice slurry builds up, and it just runs. I haven't had any jams with the rocks so far. The tumbler has a nice rotational movement and seems to be cycling the stones well. So far it seems well built. At the cost of I payed, I sure hope it last for years...🤞

Looks like you and the mini did a great job polishing some hard to polish rocks.

Thanks! About 50% were found in Northern Mich, the rest were purchased.

I ordered my MT-10 from Cutting Edge Supply and it definitely took up to two months to get to me. At the time, the Mini Sonics had a shortage on springs from China so that may have been why it took so long but you may get yours sooner.
