I thought the title was catchy! LOL Vistaite Carasite Morrisonite So here's some more material I got from realrockhound ! Thanks again my friend!! I know there are some funky shapes in this batch. It wasn't all by my choice. I had drawn out some shapes...started to cut them out, and the rock decided there was a fracture or a pit which I had to deal with...which changed my plans...sometimes by quite a bit! LOL As always, thanks for taking a gander! Vistaite Cabochon Carasite Cabochon - I took 20 pictures of that first one with the point downward like I want to wrap it...but none would turn out. So, I took a picture with it "upside down"! LOL Morrisonite Cabochon - The second one was suppose to be a different shape...but the preform broke.

I have to say that I like the Carasite cabs best. But all are great! I am curious if you keep a list of all the different materials you have made into cabs?

Awesome batch of cabs but then again should we expect any less of your master cabbing skills? I think not!

When I first started, I began an Excel spreadsheet. I quickly learned I couldn't keep up with it! LOL - Most everything is tucked away in the ol' noggin'...which isn't a really reliable source all the time! LOL Awesome batch of cabs but then again should we expect any less of your master cabbing skills? I think not! Thank you Diane! I should show a picture of the "rejects" pile...that still hasn't stopped growing! LOL

Another set of beauties Jason. Thank you my friend! I've got some other interesting pieces on dop...now I just need to find the energy to get them done! (Isn't it sad I have to "find" energy to sit on my rump and grind some rocks? LOL)

They all look awesome, but man the shape of that 3rd one down is "on point"! It is elegant, yet has that "primitive" vibe.

I like the G.I. Joe reference! I just watched that movie again not that long ago! LOL Thank you so much! I can't decide between that last Morrisonite and the Desert Eagle as to which one is my favorite out of this group!

As usual stunning cabs! Taking advantage of some amazing material with your pattern choices and precision grinding. The Carasite looks amazing but I really like the shape of the last one.

Thank you my friend! I don't do a lot of shapes like that last one...but I think I might add it to my "usuals" arsenal! LOL

Ha ha! You thought this got past me! Well, it didn't. I love them all- very rich colors. I think the second (carrasite) is my favorite. Always pushing the envelope with shapes.
