I haven't had the tumblers rolling for quite a while. I finally loaded up a batch and a 12 lb barrel a while ago. After a few runs of course grit I finally got to the point where I could pull up batch out and run through the mini Sonic. Added more back to the 12-pounder and got it rolling again. It's been about 2 weeks in the mini Sonic and here's what I came up with.

Trim saw scraps Looks like wood but it's Polish Flint end cut off a big amazing piece I have. Central CA coast beach find I think this is another beach one. Looks like brecciated Jasper that's starting to agatize. I probably should have picked up more of this. It's backyard landscape gravel from a vacant rental house I installed a new AC system in. I love Stone Canyon Jasper! Another beach find and another This is a pretty good size chunk. I thought it was Wonderstone but not real sure. The other side of the last one. Another beach jasper with some quartz on the bottom. This is a big chunky beach rock! My competition cab shined up a little more in the Minisonic. Still badly undercut with an orange peel finish. Thank you whoever gave me the mercy vote! This meets all my scientific criteria for jade. It's green and I can't get a good polish on it! I'm pretty sure this is part of my coveted Stanislaus County Waste Water Treatment Plant Parking Lot Collection. Another typical CA beach Jasper. A purple competition reject. It's much more purple than it photographs A couple more beach rocks. The 12 pounder is rolling so hopefully more to come in the not so distant future. There's some nice Black Lace Agate in there.

Really polished well and also like the brecciated jasper. I really like that a lot of these were beach or parking lot finds. I haven't had too much luck with the parking lots but my brother does well finding good rocks on them.

Great looking batch. I like the brecciated jaspers too. The beach finds are nice. I had to laugh at the long name, Stanislaus County Waste Water Treatment Plant Parking Lot Collection or SCWWTPPLC. You definitely find pretty good ones wherever you go.

Lots of lookers in there, that copper head piece is probably my favorite. That polish flint isn't too shabby either. Reminded me of a piece I regret not buying....

All these are beautiful but there are several that stand out to me. That piece of landscaping rock that you picked up from the house you worked at, looks like some crazy brecciated quartz and feldspar combination. The Stonewall Canyon looks completely different from what I have, it’s quite beautiful and very nice. And lastly, that crazy piece of flint. Wow! Absolutely amazing. Great job man! edit-after reading through again, I see that you have stonewall Jasper, not stonewall canyon Jasper lol. I’m no longer wondering why it looks different.

Those are some nice looking rocks! Thanks Adam! Really polished well and also like the brecciated jasper. I really like that a lot of these were beach or parking lot finds. I had to laugh at the long name, Stanislaus County Waste Water Treatment Plant Parking Lot Collection or SCWWTPPLC. You definitely find pretty good ones wherever you go. Thanks! I found some interesting stuff there. The piece that I cut my first pendant from was from that parking lot. I thought I was making a cab but by definition it wasn't! Lots of lookers in there, that copper head piece is probably my favorite. That polish flint isn't too shabby either. Reminded me of a piece I regret not buying.... Thanks! I really like Polish Flint. That's an awesome piece in your pic. I got my chunk from Lapidary Central's FB auction. I had the same regret as you. I passed it by because I hadn't paid that much for a rock before. A couple of weeks later I asked Brian about it, he eventually found it and I purchased it. Fan-freakin-tastic job on those tumbles!! There's too many great ones to choose a favorite. I love the brecciated pieces!! *Chuckled more than once at some of your commentary on them! LOL Thanks Jason! I love brecciated Jasper. I wish I new if I pronounced it correctly! All these are beautiful but there are several that stand out to me. Great job man! edit-after reading through again, I see that you have stonewall Jasper, not stonewall canyon Jasper lol. I’m no longer wondering why it looks different. Thanks! Yep, different stuff. From Vegasjame's post I think Stonewall Canyon Jasper is from Nevada and Stone Canyon is from California. I used to get Stone Canyon and Stony Creek mixed up. I love that landscape rock. If anything it looks better in real life than in the picture.
