Made these hearts for my wife. Still need to do some touch up on the top indentation. These were bigger than ones I had done previously. Took a lot longer and have to remember to make them thicker to make it easier to dome the top. This one was a rock from the Rock Shed. They called it Canadian Mica. Quartz with mica. My wife likes the rock because it sparkles. This one is I think Jasper found on Lake Michigan somewhere. It was pretty soft and the right side was softer than the left. I would have said this was red before I started but it turned out very dark and almost a dark brown with brown veins and what looks like it might be hematite in a few places. Finally, a Jason jasoninsd Prairie Agate. Much brighter red in person but we didn't have any sunshine today to get a good pic. Hope you enjoy and Merry Christmas, Chris

How on earth do you get in the crevice on top?! Therein lies the real work. As best as I can I use the edge of the wheel but that usually doesn't get everything. Then I use small Dremel diamond bits to get it as smooth as I can. Then switch to toothpicks in the Dremel with grit and polish to do the best I can.
