I have been cutting like crazy this week. I had 12 days of shut down so lots of free time. I came down with Covid on the first day, so cabbing was out of the question, but I had enough energy to throw a rock in the vise and chunk up some rough. I cut up 10 Lbs of Rose Quartz for the tumbler, then cut up a bunch of small Brazilian nodules that usually yield 1 end, 2 to 3 slabettes, then a second end that I turn 90 deg and split in 2 (so I get 3 PCs of tumbling rough, and 2 to 3 slabs per nodule. Yesterday I was finally feeling better and decided to chunk up half of 2 solid geodes I got years ago, and decided they were not worth face polishing. Should make some interesting tumbling stuff.
