I've had a small part of a nodule of Imperial Jasper that I've been wanting to cut for a long time. And I finally got some plaster of Paris. Put it in a empty quart milk carton and let it set. Added several other smaller rocks and layers that I'm cutting through now. So far it's going real well. The Jasper looks like it's going to be good. The color in the saw picture is not true and only has a little bit of blue in it. The color in the picture where I'm holding it is what it looks like.

Very cool. I’ve always wanted to try this for smaller rocks or ones not easy to hold. Years ago I saw where these were being sold as like surprise/lottery sort of auction items. Never knew what you were going to get in it. Kind of fun.👍

That's something I haven't seen in awhile. I remember some old threads, but no one has mentioned it recently. Great way to cut those small irregulars.
