Attached is a pic of some Petoskey Stones that I hope to use in making a mobile. Have a couple more to polish and then will select best ones for the mobile. Will post a pic of it when I get it done.

Those are pretty cool! The ones that donโt make the grade to be on the mobile, could become refrigerator magnets.

Did you tumble them? Thanks. All these were done on a cabber. A mobile!? What an interesting idea. Looking forward to seeing it done. I love unusual rock projects. I will post a pick when I get it done.

Can't wait to see the mobile! I've got a bag full of Petoskey Stones sitting on a chair next to my cabbing machine. They've been sitting there waiting for me to get bored making cabs. I figured I'd wheel-polish a couple of them when I didn't have any cabs to do. I haven't "not" had any cabs to do in the last six months! LOL

Wow. These were done on a cabber.๐ Thanks. It is hard to do both sides on smaller stones. LOL If they are smaller, you can make cabs out of the Petoskey stones by grinding the not so good side flat. I did both sides on these and I think you could grind them into a tear drop shape if you wanted to make a wire wrapped pendent. They aren't very hard so it is easy (kind of) to shape them. So get grinding.
