I have a 24" FranTom slab saw that I bought 7 or 8 years ago and just getting around to setting it up for use. The saw has a 3/4" arbor shaft and it is missing the arbor nut. I also have a new 24" Greenline Agate Eater blade from HP Lapidary which has a 1" opening. So, I am looking for 2 things to get the saw in working order, a 1" OD to 3/4" ID blade bushing, and a 3/4" arbor nut.
Searching online has not been real productive! almost no one has both.
At HP Lapidary I found a 'Arbor shaft jam nut for 20, 24 and 36 inch slab saws'. Are they universal? It gives no description of TPI. Looking at the shaft, it looks to be 18TPI? The price is $22.97, wondering if that is high or reasonable, plus $9.97 for shipping. So $36.41 for a nut, a bushing, and shipping.
Looking elsewhere they either don't give TPI or they are 3/4-16. (Am I measuring wrong?) The blade bushing at HP Lapidary is $3.47, elsewhere all the way up to $15.95.
Anyone have comments, suggestions, or better sources? I would love to hear your input!
Thanks, Samuel

Most likely your nut is 3/4-16, though there is such a thing as 3/4-20 as well. You can get on Amazon for a little over $10 Ace or True Value hardware stores will probably have them as well. With both flanges and blade on, how much threaded shaft is sticking out? If more than a standard nut width I wouldn't get the Jam nut, a standard one covers and protects more of the threads. Important thing is they don't need to be overly tightened. Kingsley North has your blade adaptor for $2.50 They are a good place to shop for all things lapidary, so maybe you will find more stuff to justify shipping.
