Was out looking for a different mine a few days ago and could not remember exactly how to get there. Ran across some other mines instead and decided to check them out. Spotted what I thought was dolomite crystals until I went to pick them up and it felt like picking up lead. Knew right away that they were barite instead. Found some good sized chunks of white barite, but my favorite find of the day were these blue barites.
