Hello all I'm new here but have been a rock lover all my life. Now I'm interested in seeing them on the inside. I want to learn how to cut them. I've been working on tumbling just for the joy of seeing the beauty that each rock possess. I'm in iowa, have rocks from here to California.

Welcome from Central California! I love seeing the inside of a rock. Something special when you cut it knowing that it's been around for thousands if not millions of years and you're the first one to ever see inside of it.

Welcome from northwest Missouri. I would be currious if you find many Lake Superior agates in the streams where you are in Iowa. I find a few here but they are not common.

Welcome from NW Florida
I have to agree, cutting rocks open is fun, you never know what patterns you might find. Patty

Welcome from Washington state. Tumbling sure can bring out the best of most rocks.
