Very nice! I don't often like the indonesian coral but the colors in that one work well. The Maury Moss is very nice too.

Nice photos! And I do like that coral. Maury mountain was one of my first favorites. There can be a whole rainbow of colors in it.đ

They look good. I think I remember⌠You were flat lap and then bought a real cabbing machine right? Making do can be fun and creative and thrifty and is definitely a good way to start. Thereâs also some good learning in having to struggle a bit. But then I think having the right tools helps you to get to the next level of craftsmanship.

I had a slant lap and just got a cab king recently. I notice a big difference from one to the other, for sure.

Oh, that picture is MUCH better. It's a beautiful cab.
I love Indy coral. I generally prefer it snow white, but I love how the color is dispersed in yours.

Cold but sunny(ier) day today so was able to get a better photo of the maury. So pretty.. Also, I made a cab today out of some Indonesian fossilized coral that I got from HPL auction. Thanks for looking! I remember the exact spot I hand picked that piece of Maury. I remember all the rocks lol

WAY TO GO PETA! Both of those look great! I really like that coral piece...very very gorgeous!! I'm willing to bet it took longer than 7 minutes to cab those...and the results show you definitely took the necessary time to make them the way they should be made! (You know what I'm talking about! LOL)

The coral was a little easier (softer?), but still took time...

AlsoâŚ. I forgot to commend you. Youâre cabs look great. Looks like youâre finally getting it figured out. That polish on the Maury is about as good as it gets. Looks like you took your time and nailed it on both pieces. There is no special combination of wheels that will compensate for technique and skill. And from what I can see from youâre previous cabs youâre dialing your skill in. First and most important, Quality over quantity. Excited to see how you progress from here.

Sometimes the stone has a mind of its own. But Iâve always had the mentality of why not take your time and produce the best piece you possibly can? Hacking out cabs is for the birdsâŚ. Keep up the good work
