Dang! @johthor1963 beat me by an hour posting this. I also got some seam agate from the Idaho Rock Shop. I asked for cutting material which I haven't had time to get to yet. But there was this one little slab included that looked like an end piece. Couldn't resist putting it on a stick today and seeing how it turned out. Had a pretty good idea it would be good. I forgot to take a before photo but there is a photo of it before I started doming it. I was also worried the green would disapear if I took too much off. I took one after photo in artifical light and one in natural. The artificial is closer to what the colors look like. I had a hard time doming it because it wasn't very thick and was rough around the edges (too embarassed to show you a side view). Will have to clean that up somehow. A few pits and the red stuff wasn't very hard. Hope you enjoy the pics Chris    |

Wow, that’s nice! 👍👍 I too have been meaning to post for about a week that I got my box from Tony. (Need to go find the original thread.) I haven’t had any time to play with the material unfortunately. I also got cutting rough. Fun times ahead!

Seems to be a great variation in what was sent. I received mine as well. Haven't really had a chance to do anything with it yet. I am sure there will be some good ones in there. Yea, I am hoping that some of the pieces look as good when cut (hard to beat that one). There were some other green pieces that might be real interesting. |

LoL 😂 that’s funny. Chris1956 that is an awesome piece I like the choice in the shape and size. Your photos of the piece was really cool natural lighting really made it pop lol.
Can’t wait to see what you come up with next. Suspense is killing me on what everyone else has been working on. (Sorry I beat you by an hour) lol

I still haven't been able to see him yet...other than on my wife's phone...with her "spycam" app thingy! LOL "Mom" sent a picture of the car seat with a bundle in it...my wife got excited thinking he was finally getting to come home...until she zoomed in and saw it was a stuffed elephant in the chair! LOL - "Dad" just wanted to practice to make sure he got it right! |
