I just received a great box of rocks in the mail. It definitely exceeded my expectations. Some nice stuff in there. I'm actually starting to process a little of it right now. Lots of chunks of Pudding Stone which I've wanted to play with for a while.

Me too! I will try to post some pics tomorrow of the goods! Some cool Apache Tears, sodalite, a big chunk of amethyst, and lots of petrified wood chunks! Amazing assortment and a lot of quality pieces!

I received my box today. A lot of great rocks inlcuded! There are a lot of different jaspers, agates, a nice geode, rose quartz, a bag of tiger eye, a bag of sodalite, a box of the Apache Tears, and many others that I am going to have to look up. Thanks again to the donor. This was a great way to remember Jean.

Forgot to mention all the pudding stones and petrified wood. The pudding stones look different from the ones I have seen that come from Michigan so it will be interesting to see how they look polished.

chris1956 Thanks for updating us! They look really nice and it was nice to be reminded of Jean- not that I needed it. She is on my mind a lot- esp in this election year.

chris1956 - Chris...thanks for posting the updates in this thread. My wife and I were watching something on TV a week or so back...there was a lady on there and I turned to my wife and told her she totally reminded me of Jean (she knew who I was talking about). I miss the interactions with Jean on here...
