It all started with a simple Nat Geo Tumble kit…
Then I started my tumbling education (thanks Rob for the vids and helpful forum folk with feedback!)
Realized I needed better materials if I wanted less flawed, shinier rocks (which I DO I DO I DO!!!)
Bought Polly Plastics grit and ceramic(lrg & sml) media kit
Got the variable speed PSU unit
Asked for and received a small trim saw for combined xmas bday
Already have dremel and shaft
Got some small diamond hole saw and burr bits
Want less flawed, shiner rocks
Got submicron polish (for really special batches)

Ordered from the Rock Shed (and just received) Lortone 33B Kit with grit/polish 5lbs rock, plastic pellets, discounted HQ small Citrine
Ideally want one barrel just for course, one for polish but hoping at some point I can get my hands on a small vibratory tumbler for final polishing stage, but months of looking and being on waitlists has yielded no results
so I went with the dbl barrel. It’s literally a STEAL for the kit from Rock Shed.
Now I want prettier rocks like Porcelain/Sci-Fi Jasper 🤩
My question to myself as well as y'all is this: Does it ever end? Is there ALWAYS something added to a never ending list? And it is just me or is it really the rocks? I feel pretty bad when I feel like I’ve failed a rock which is an inanimate object so that’s absurd…right? I can’t tell if I’m becoming crazy or just rock nuts??? But I’m def addicted and obsessed atm.
