imagine my surprise when i opened up this little package: it's as gorgeous as i thought it would be from looking at all the Big Sur Jade photos! needless to say i was very pleased and surprised to have my own piiece of it!!! Ed also included a CD of California Coast and Flower pics, thanks, Stoner, you made my day! KD

that stuff is great aint it kd ---i got tonys pieces done i broke one on the grinder but the other 4 are ready ill mail them out when i hit kims ----- cant wait to see what ya make with it

KD - I don't think that jade ever had icicles on it in California. That's what it looks like in 2nd pic. Even has a shadow.

lol, Parfive, it was 9 below zero (F) here this morning and that poor old California rock was sitting in my cold NY mail box for a while.......
LOL, that is really the trace bit of scotch tape Ed used to secure it to the CD...
speaking of which, beautiful photos, Ed, love the flowers (especially the Bird of Paradise, my favorite flower on the whole planet), love the scenery, some of those could be postcards! and the movie was very soothing....thanks again!!!!!!!!!
did i ever post the Bird of Paradise Agate slab i got this past summer? you know i bought it just because it was called that....

Hey KD. The reason I took that short movie was to record the sounds of the rocks tumbling in the ocean. Turn up the sound and listen closely to the fist sized pieces of rock rolling around as the water receeds. It was awesome to hear.
