Great looking batch! It looks like a lot of rocks too. How big is your tumbler?

I have a rebel 17 tumbler. It takes a lot of rock to fill and my flower beds are missing a lot of granite and other crushed stone. Those are easy to spot even with my bad photos lol thanks for the look

It’s amazing what can fit in there. Plus, I love doing larger fist sized or more rocks. You did a nice job with those. If you have any Rock yards in your area, see if they’ll sell you 5 gallon buckets of rocks. Makes great tumbling fodder. We have one nearby that actually designates which river in Texas the rocks come from and does $8/5 gallon bucket. Found some really good ones there. Anything that’s not good ends up going out in the yard.

Nice batch, they all look so nice. Do you know what the agates are on the left side end? Thanks for sharing.

The majority end up being just rocks honestly, which end up in the front yard. But when we occasionally find good ones it’s worth it.

They are South Dakota Chalcedony from rock shed. Good looking batch John! I'm still trying to pry an answer from some old-timers where I can find that stuff around here! (And I don't mean buzzing up to the Rock Shed...I mean "in the wild"! LOL)

I wish I lived your way I’m sure I be looking for it in the wild also lol good luck on your quest. I cabbed a piece over the weekend and the reaction to uv light was cool I’ll have to get a picture and put it up later this week.

I was hoping Fairburns would react the same way to make them easier to find...but they don't! LOL
