I should’ve mentioned, one of the biggest factors of convenience is the table height is higher so no bending or stooping at all! I went this route until I learned it's not deep enough for my needs. I have 25lb barrels and this wasnt adequate enough. I went the route and got a deep mud-room sink. It has a removable tabletop with hole so for small loads the can go there while the larger 25lb barrels get dropped in the deep part.

OMG! I thought you started another new thread...I was scrolling down the Recent Topics page and read the title as "Easter" Barrel Clean Outs! I was thinking this'll be cool...then I realized I might need glasses! LOL 😆 tis the season 🤷♀️

As a hobby tumbler I don’t ever anticipate going big enough where the table would no longer be functional.

Great setup! Take it to the next level by ditching the dollar store white colanders and pick up a few of the "Mainstays Colander 4 Quart Teal Polypropylene Plastic" ones from Walmart for a $1.07 each. I got soooo sick of picking 30-40 small pieces of ceramics out of those slots in your style of strainer. I had 4 of them. The Walmart ones were such a breath of fresh air!

I love this idea. There are even numerous tables on Amazon around 80-100 bucks. I think we’ll try one out here soon. Thanks for mentioning it!!

The DG is the closest thing to my house and when I was going rockhounding I couldn’t take the house one. I am already sick of picking out micro pebbles! Usually I use the strainer tho, I like the littles and keep them.

Thanks for sharing this great idea! I ordered one from Home Depot when I read your post and got it the next day. Besides a cleanout place for my tumbler bowls, it also serves as a table and cleanout spot for my QEP 7" tile saw which is water lubed/cooled. In the past I had to drag the saw half-way around the house to clean it out after use. Steve
