More great cabs, thanks for sharing! What did you use for polish on these? Thanks! So the final polish on all of these cabs I've done so far has been the cerium pad that's at the end of my Kingsley North cabber. I honestly thought it wouldn't be that good and was planning on using a seperate polishing wheel, but I have to say it's been working great. I don't know how long it will last, but I've done about 50 cabs with it and it seems to be holding up well. Well dang, that's what I have too! I'm running out of excuses 😆

I'm not sure if you have the 6" or the 8" KN Cabber. I have the 6". I got a packet of these for replacements for the cerium pad when it wore down. They do last awhile. www.ebay.com/itm/141799880274Thank you! I'm using the 6". And that's a steal for those pads!!! Do you just heat the pad up and peel it off when you replace them or just stick a new one on top? I'm also trying to find out what the p/n is for the entire pad assembly, but KN says it's not something they stock as a regular replacement item. They did say I can contact them to buy one if I need it (they didn't provide a price though).

I contacted them and they sent me a different pad assembly...free...so I don't know the cost of them! LOL I'm pretty sure mine just peeled off cleanly without heating it up...or maybe I did use a hair dryer (MY WIFE'S! LOL). The replacement pads stay on just fine...but I know I don't have to heat those up to get them off. Those pads are squares...so I just trace the disk...cut out the circle...and use the scraps if I ever have to hand polish something...which rarely happens.

Thanks for updating the photos. Upgrading from cloudinary to flickr is such a relief to the eyes.

Thanks for updating the photos. Upgrading from cloudinary to flickr is such a relief to the eyes. It was stressing me out to see them compressed and low-rez like that. Thanks for noticing! Q
