You win some you lose some.

Finally got around to slabbing my Idaho seam agate.  I got some nice pieces but I feel I largely struck out.  Oh well, it was the luck of the draw and that's how it goes sometimes.




These are some of the larger pieces and are pretty darn good. Of course I've got some big fractures to deal with.


  This one is definitely the most disappointing. It's the largest rock by far out of the bag and it doesn't look much better on the inside than it looked on. The outside. Doesn't really look like agate to me. 


Everything else is pretty small. I guess I'll have to figure out a different way to cut it. Lot of stuff crumbling when I do it on my tile trim saw.
