Working batch - to trim Peridot

Wow, we recently went Peridot mining and got quite a bit… some decent sized that can be faceted. they were dirty, so decided to put in tumbler with a couple
other rock/agate specimens. Initially tumbled for almost 24 hrs in just water. Cleaned them up a bit after that tumble…soaked/rinsed them well, then added back to tumbler this time with the 3rd stage grit, just about 2 Tbsp, oh yeah it’s a 3 lb harbor Freight tumbler, so turns a little slower than others….ran this batch for 48 hrs.
Really cleaned up the Peridot, and the other rocks as well in just a short period of time.
Will be faceting some of the Peridot at later date, once i figure out where I can get that done.
