Here are some agate cabs that I would have thought about entering into the cabachon contest but I don't have pics of the preforms....I'll have to try getting into the habit of taking pics beforehand as well. Enjoy! First one is a crazy lace with a nice vug! 2nd up is a blue lace: Thard is a Kentucky agate with some awesome pinks...photo may not do it justice. Looks amazing in person. Also, I'm really liking the muted points of the triangle! What do y'all think? Do you prefer pointy or muted edges?

I do like the knocked off points on the triangle. It looks intentionally shaped. Nice different way to do a triangle, and probably less breakable down the road. Nice cabs all around. 👍

I like the cut corners. I've done that myself. Somehow, it just looks better, not as extreme. I like your cabs. That crazy lace and druzy are off the charts!

I'm in agreement with Tela and Khara...the blunted corners look great! I'm super impressed with that round Lace cab! Circles are one of the most difficult shapes to keep "true" on the initial grind...but they're one of the easiest shapes to finish polishing. Great job on that one especially! **As a sidenote - there's been several instances where someone forgot to take a picture of the slab for the contest. It happens...and usually no one has an issue with it...so don't let that prevent you from entering it!
