This prairie agate that I got from Jason jasoninsd looked like it had some pretty good bands on the outside. So I cut a couple slabs the other day but there was no banding at all on the inside. I told Jason that it looked more like something I would see on Turd Tuesday than in a prairie agate. He indicated that sometimes happens with PAs. I really like the way the slabs look (more red than shows in the pics) but it was totally different than what I expected. I forgot to take a photo before I cut it so the first pick is in the saw and already cut. Chris

Prairie coprolite Left by jasoninsd also referred to as a Teepee trap. I’m just play. I know it’s not, but I agree with you, that’s what that pattern reminds me of from that one section cut. Cool stuff. Since I see you and Jason have been doing some horse tradin’, any Oregon material you have an interest in?
