starting to spend too much on rocks

Started tumbling a couple of months ago but now have four tumblers. Very interested in the hobby.

Hope I haven't posted this before.
I do not have any way to use a real cabbing machine at this point. I start a jewelry class in June and hoping they have a way to create cabs. Maybe a Lap machine is in my future as well.
Meantime, I have created, by chance, some rocks from my tumbler which resemble true cabs and I have mounted one of them on a bail, using glue.
Wonder if anyone does this and if there is a method to this. I really like the organic cabs that I have created.
