Started tumbling a couple of months ago but now have four tumblers. Very interested in the hobby.

I bought a used qt12 with all three barrels. It runs fine but the shafts are rusted. I figure I'll need BELT, BEARINGS AND SHAFTS soon. Any suggestions at to where I may be able to find? I was hoping to get it all from one supplier but at this point i don't mind oncey twocey from different suppliers. Suggestions. I put penetrating oil on it last night and it runs fine with no load. I suspect it will run fine with a load of rocks as well but i would like to have spares ready. Most interested in bearings and belt. Thank you!

Try Minnesota Lapidary Supply. lapidarysupplies.com/ You can't see what they have in stock from their catalog. You will have to go old school and call Val. He seems to have a lot of stuff. I talked to him just after the Lortone shutdown happened and he had a lot of spare parts at that time but may have changed since then.  |

They had the belt and bearings in stock and are working on making shafts, probably next week. I ordered the belts and bearings and I'm on the back order list for the shafts. Reasonable price and shipping. Real winners. |

The drive shafts on my QT66 have a 1/8 inch rubber coating on them
