I am new and have never held a rock/mineral magazine in my hand. No magazine racks any more, especially where I live. If anyone would like to get rid of a bunch of magazines, plealse let me know. Not interested in classica, antiques etc. Just any rock magazines as I am a big reader. I have some John McPhee geology books I'd be willing to trade, very nice reading, look him up.
Lastly, what's a good magazine to subscribe to.
Thanks,
Mirko

I always liked Rock and Gem and Lapidary Journal. You can sometimes find people selling old lots of these on eBay that they’ll ship to you and you can also order a bunch of back issues from the magazine publishers themselves and they’ll ship them to you.

I subscribe to Rock and Gem. Used to subscribe to Lapidary Journal. It was also good. They no longer publish it. Ask the local clubs. They usually sell them for nickels at the shows.
Welcome from California.
