I have one of those Richardson high speed dry polishers. Hands down the most unsafe piece of equipment I own 😂. I’ve had the discs explode and cut me. Need to use a lot of caution and spacial awareness when using it. Wonder how many people have got caught in those things.

realrockhound In all fairness I've heard other similar reports. I think using it vertical has some applications. Or take apart and repurpose the thing haha. Tha is for your input I'll be we get it sold

Tha is for your input I'll be we get it sold just fyi. I wasn’t trying to scare anyone from buying it. Just saying that it’s a machine that you need to use some common sense around. No loose fitting clothes, wear gloves, etc.. does a pretty decent job polishing things up quickly. Those old timers just did things differently. Safety!!?? What’s that? 😂

aGates pretty sure the Nelson should be a 12 inch saw, model 12D and all. I was never injured by a HS sander, but the club shop did keep the bandaids stocked when they had them.
