Wow, what is this "MOHAVE DAHLIA"? Is it natural stone? Just did a google search and it seems to be a complicated process to make such stone.

Ball markers! (Ah, they’re a little big for that, actually, oh well.) The Serape’s interesting, haven’t seen anything like that before, but the flint is a KNOCKOUT.

Beautiful work, as always. The flint is amazing, but that pietersite is a close second!

Beautiful work, as always. The flint is amazing, but that pietersite is a close second! The brecciation in the Pietersite is new to me.. Adds a nice flash in the bright gold areas… Thanks Tela

Masterful work! It's impressive you can consistently find such top-notch material -- and Morgan Hill too! Is the Pietersite Chinese?

Masterful work! It's impressive you can consistently find such top-notch material -- and Morgan Hill too! Is the Pietersite Chinese? African pietersite… Super unique pattern. As far as material goes? After cabbing now for the last 6 years? I am hyper aware of the rocks i prefer to grind So when i see them, i snatch them up. Thank you for the compliments

I had a small chunk of Polished Flint quite awhile ago. Destroyed it trying to force the saw through it. Lesson learned with that material! As others have stated, that's a stand out for sure. The pattern is stunning in that! (As far as I'm concerned...yes...you can still say tribal! LOL)
The Pietersite is stunning! I actually shaped up a preform last night...but mine is just the boring blue stuff! LOL
That Mohave Dahlia just got put on my radar! Thanks! Thanks a lot! LOL
