To be fair, I believe he came up on her cubs. This is a common response with a lot of wild game. People have been killed by bear, moose, elk, deer, etc.. just being in the wrong place at the wrong time. I’ve come across fawns and didn’t see the mom in site. But wasn’t going to stick around long enough to find out where she was. When I go hounding, I go so far off the beaten path generally, that and encounter like that could be the end of me, no one would find me 😂. I just put in 10+ miles on foot yesterday out in no man’s land. Hasn’t been a soul in those parts since the natives

Yeah, I think there was a cub at the beginning. She wasn't being predatory, just trying to get him away but it's surprising how far she went to make sure he was off the premises. She probably saw the camera and thought, "Oh no... not another stinkin' influencer. I do NOT want my baby all over their socials."
