I am thinking it could be bumblebee "jasper", which is actually a calcite, not a jasper, and contains sulfur and arsenic.

Thanks Vegasjames, that's the debate here as well.... is it bumblebee or Kabamby? That's why I included the substrate photo. Its very sparkly on the outside.

If it is Bumble Bee like James suggested, take precautions!
It does look like Kabamby to me though...but James knows WAY more than I do! LOL

Thanks Vegasjames, that's the debate here as well.... is it bumblebee or Kabamby? That's why I included the substrate photo. Its very sparkly on the outside. Check hardness. Bumblebee jasper is softer than real jaspers.
You can also try an acid test as calcite fizz with acid.
Or heat a chip of the stone. If it smells like garlic, that is arsenic.
