I recently recieved some art glass (and other rocks) from pebblesky (thanks much). Among them was the piece below. I don't know the history of this one, but it sure looks like it was tumbled in the ocean. If it was done in a tumbler, it was really done well as it has the rough frosting on it and not the smoother frosted finish that you typically see from tumbled glass. I remembered seeing discussion on how to tumble the glasses to have that frosting look. My guess is these were sand blasted instead.

I remembered seeing discussion on how to tumble the glasses to have that frosting look. My guess is these were sand blasted instead. I don't think these were sandblasted. On a few of them, you can see little spots that looked like they were recently (relatively) chipped and haven't frosted yet.
