I agree with Chad, that 4th one is the top drool-worthy piece out all of these drool-worthy pieces!
The 5th one looks like it could be either Butterfly Wing Jasper...or Cold Mountain Thunderegg...but I'm edging towards BWJ on that one...
The 6th one is "Maggot Agate"...or also known as Caddis Fly Larvae Agate...aka Petrified Palm Root Agate.

I like that one a lot less now.... ewwwww BWJ - That was one of 2 guesses, as well as whiskey creek. But those were just guesses, I can only compare not know like you can. I want to see that thunder egg, I'm going to search for it. I found a really awesome website back, I think it had the name dwarves in in but now I can't remember. That site has so many pictures I've used to compare my samples to! Maybe I can find it again. The #4 I have no guess but it sure does look cool! Anyway, as always thank you for the time from your day helping me out!

Yes, I agree with BWJ, but I think BWJ is from cold mountain mountain thunderegg. stardiamond might know better. He's the BWJ guy.

The fifth one is definitely BWJ. Both BWJ and Cold Mountain are thundereggs from Mexico. BWJ is very difficult to find now.
A lot of the rough ended up in India. Cold Mountain is similar and both have a lot of different appearances. The coloration and pattern of your slab is what I look for along with minimal fracture lines.

stardiamond thank you! I was lost on that one! I know how to label this one now. I appreciate it, thank you very much. Pat thank you for the compliment! I'm always happy to hear from you. I spoke to the collector to pass along the compliments, now he wants to see photos too! I'm going to make a photo album for him, since he wants to see the pictures of his collection. He will be tickled pink. rockjunquie if you have a moment, may I ask a question about thundereggs? It's a size question mostly. How big do thundereggs get? I assumed that due to the size of the piece in question I wasn't looking for a thunderegg. In my mind, thundereggs would be smaller than fist size...but this piece is larger, hence my question. Only if you get a second, I know its asking a bit much. As always, thanks to everyone and have a fantastic day!

Willow Creek jasper are thunderegg centers. Some of the eggs are the size of volkswagons. They break the eggs open with a jackhammer on the end of a backhoe. Only about 1 in 10 are good enough to keep.
