Very nice cabs. My favorite is #1. I love the colors of the crazy lace, very different from the norm of yellow, orange, and red. Thanks fro sharing. Thanks my friend! I LOVE the colors of these as well! There's something about them that make them look like the have an "old-school" patina to them...to me.

It's hard to choose from #1 and #3. I hope all my crazy laces are that insane.

Nice stone and nice work Jason. Sorry about the PM.
Re: Something in the air. I can't count the times I've spent far too much time on a cab perfecting it only to have some flub or accident destroy it. Most recent: I'd cut a lovely little pear shape from some beautiful transparent lemon-colored fire opal last week and noticed some tiny scratches on the back. I took it to the wheel to eliminate them. Then whiz-bang, friction grabbed it and flung it into the concrete wall behind my machine, then disappeared it into the 4th dimension. It will likely reappear only n instant before my foot is descending to crush it. All my fault for trying to save effort by hand-holding and not dopping.

When I was buffing my stones on the flat lap, I didn't calculate all the potential angles of the setup...and the hazards in the room. I don't remember what the stone was...but I was trying to finish the back (must be "back" issue! LOL)...lost control of the cab...and watched it fling across the room at break-neck speed...right at the window! Missed the window by inches. While I was impressed with the distance traveled...I did opt to change the position of the flat lap (slant cabber) so the trajectory would be as "costly" should another cab choose to make an unscheduled flight! LOL
