Reminds me of a serpentine like material a friend collected in NW WA state. Wish I remembered what they called it.

Ok update. I believe it's Verdite from Zimbabwe. I found another piece with a label after much digging around. It could be serpentine as well, if there is such a thing as a Serpentine Verdite?

I'm pretty sure I ID'd this. I believe it's Verdite from Mazowe, Zimbabwe. !00% agree!

Verdite is a form of fuchite and is about Mohs 3 to 4 hardness, should scratch easily with a steel knife blade.
