I use my trim saw for more than trimming as I cut mini slabs up to 2" high or so. Looks like it's time for a new blade. Any recommendations? Any cheaper blades I should consider as well?

I just order the cheap thin blades from China on Amazon. They seem to do what I need them to do. Seem to last long enough as well.

That's what I did as well but they are not cutting very well now. I've gone through two and have three left for my $20. The two I've used are "bowed". You can try to bend them a little bit and they sort of pop. I'm new and my guess is I'm going too fast and maybe overheating the blade. I'm going to try #3 and go slower. I'm kind of saving my sintered blade that came with the machine until I can appreciate the difference, that's why I'm starting with the cheap blades while I get educated.

I've had a 6" project saw sitting in my shed for a decade and an MK 303 blade for it sitting on a shelf for probably 5 years. Just re-wired the motor, cleaned it up and did a few test cuts last week and the MK 303 goes through agate slabs like butter. Cut and trimmed some smaller agates ~ 1 to 2" and it sliced them nicely, thin kerf and clean cuts. Too soon to guess on durability but i've run a 10" MK 303 on my 10" saw going on 8 years now and it seems good as it ever was (i don't cut a ton though, probably a couple hundred cuts total on that one). No idea on price though i can't find them listed anywhere now when i search for them ...
