So it’s not A++++ supreme quality, BUT this was my first time ever trying to polish by hand AND my first time ever using an angle grinder (and OOOOF OUCH MY CUTICLE lesson learned there, lol 😂)

Just a little piece I cut off of one of the 8-million cryptocrystalline silica rocks I have in my collection; I really liked the random bands in this one. It’s got a hundred little pores in it so I wouldn’t have gotten a supreme shine no matter how long I was at it, but I’m happy enough with this lil guy to display him at work! Need to get some more practice in (and either a thumb guard or a good pair of gloves, lol!)
