Hi Jeg, I haven't tried any other wheels than the Nova 6" and they are on the KN. I think they are worth it, although the price has go up considerably just this year from last year. When it comes time to buy wheels again for me it will be the Novas.

There's been a lot of threads on this subject. Nova wheels are SO expensive! I prefer Novas, but I have only tried the Baltic "nova". It was horrible. Many people resurface old wheels. Johnson Bros lapidary also sells a nova type wheel that is supposed to be pretty good. I bought one, but I haven't tried it, yet.

Nova and galaxy are all I have ever used. Lapidary isn’t a cheap hobby sadly.

I am really happy with my DP Nova wheels on my Kingsley. That said, I’ve never used any others and given the expense I probably will be willing to try others when the time comes to replace them.

I have the KN 6" cabber with their standard wheels, and have been very happy with it. The cost difference, for me, made the difference that I could afford to buy the cabber at all.
As the wheels wear out, I've replaced them with Johnson Brothers Super Nova's, which I'm also happy with.
Having never used Nova wheels, I can't offer a comparison.

It's good to know you like the Super Novas. I hear they're good with the refurbishing, too.

Well, I have mixed results on the refurbishing from Johnson Brothers. I had one done, and it started to peel off. I contacted them & they wouldn't honor it.
Next up, going to try to coat my own. Have the materials - I'll get there.
