I was expecting an article way over my head, but i get this and had to laugh out loud. Silly! Me too, Dave pulled a fast one on us so now it's my turn to send Dave down another rabbit hole. 1dave I've been listening to some podcasts lately by Donald Hoffman while I slave away at work. They entail some complex discussions about space/time and consciousness, and I think these discussions are right down your path of interest.

I like the old joke of what is the speed of light?
The same as regular beer, you just go less often.

How fast does a spirit travel. Say to Earendel or Icarus from earth. What if it was instantly or as fast as the demand was to go there. Stay for 5 minutes and then demand to come back to earth instantly.
Or what if said spirit is everywhere at any point in time and travel was not necessary. That sounds best.
How many communication signals can be sent superimposed and simultaneously and bidirectionally in a fiber cable.
How fast is something travelling that happens in the future. Is the speed of a future message a negative number or approaching infinity.

How many communication signals can be sent superimposed and simultaneously and bidirectionally in a fiber cable. How fast is something travelling that happens in the future. Is the speed of a future message a negative number or approaching infinity. According to the latest findings, as I understand them, I know of two things faster than the speed of light. The expansion of the universe is one and quantum entanglement is the other. However, I wouldn't be surprised if these findings get revised in the future. It might be moot anyway because there are some findings by Donald Hoffman and his colleagues that blow all of this out of the water if true. It's actually disturbing to listen to the lectures because it makes irrelevant what we think we know about space/time and so much of our physics. There are some old ideas about omnipresence, omniscience, and omnipotence that are intriguing to consider. What's new is old, and what's old is new. Concepts about deity, consciousness and sentience are interesting to think about, along with physics and quantum physics.

There is a curious combination of the word "stretcheth" and "spreadeth" in the KJV at Isaiah 40:22 and 44:24 RWA3006 Randy. Both refer to the spreadeth/stretcheth of the heavens, likely(by inference only) done in one creation day(Isaiah 42:5). Job 9:8 touches on the same subject. Job 9:9 mentions the placement of Arcturus, Orion, and Pleiades. Job 26:7 has great relevance to positioning the north relative to earth, another key cosmic subject all together. For what it is worth numerically, "stretcheth" occurs 7 times and "spreadeth" occurs 2x7=14 times in the entire KJV of which the number 7 suggests completion(and holiness). This subject brings up many mysteries that also stretch the minds of man. We are fortunate to have minds that can be challenged and consider such miracles. Our curiosities and imaginations are a gift to be appreciated but can also be a bit tortuous in harmless/satirical way. However men like Donald Hoffman understandably become engrossed in such subjects and seem to enjoy their journey.
