Hidden in here are two earrings that I preformed and then tossed in the tumbler to get a really nice shine and light rounded corner on all the edges. Carnelians, not sure what that white stone is but I think it might be dendritic opal and a really cool experiment with some crazy lace end cut that is giving me all kinds of ideas.

Nice batch! There’s a lot of variety in there. What are you experimenting on?

Nice batch! There’s a lot of variety in there. What are you experimenting on? I had quite a bit of trims from things like the carnelians that came out in shapes that I thought would break but those buggers are rather tough. The material I was experimenting on, trying out preforming objects then tossing it into the tumbler at stage 2 to give things a nice round end. Really in summary this was a "throw it in the tumbler and see how it turns out" kind of run, I actually have quite a few items that would look good as a jewelry item. I've already got a couple friends asking about that end cut of crazy lace.

...it's how you learn what you can or can't do...or more to the point what you can or can't get away with!

They get very delicate looking but they rarely break. Keep experimenting. That’s half the fun.
