It looks like jelly or crystal opal not bolder opal. Still good stuff though.
Jelly or crystal opal is basically just a clear opal sometimes with lots of color flashes sometimes very little color flashes or just none at all.
Still good stuff nothing wrong with that

vegasjames knows a heck of a lot more than I do - I was browsing last night before I saw his reply so I posted that photo. I'll journey over to Ethiopa mindat and start digging. I'm smart enough to follow his train of thought! gemfeller - I thought so as well! At least my eyes weren't playing tricks on me! You're right though, can't tell much from photos. Jaspers, people can spot ID all day. Gems - that's a whole different animal. I'll post them here to see if its an easy one or to verify I should put them in the "pay an expert" pile. Thanks!

tribeunited is there any play of color when held in your hand and moved around? Do you see any difference between moving (twisting your wrist) the stone verses just sitting there. Is there any blue, orange, green or any color changes at all?

dreamrocks - no color play, unless your talking about the splintery looking part. It appears broken and rainbowy, but it isn't. It's like the thing formed all cracked like that inside. amygdule - Thanks! Another thunderegg! Crazy, these things are amazing!
