Thanks dreamrocks - I like this kind of crazy lace. But I am not sure if it is all laguna lace... hence the post.

In my book, Crazy Lace is Crazy Lace. Laguna comes from the mountains in Chihuahua, Mexico. Laguna is usually colorful, with red being the predominant color, I believe. It really doesn't matter, they are all Crazy Lace in the end.

Ummm...again, no expert here...but... I wouldn't call any of that "Laguna Lace". Like Robin ( hummingbirdstones ) said, it does seem to be a LOT more colorful (reds & yellows being the predominant colors). Also, I don't remember seeing any Laguna coming from such "narrow" seams. That last picture...is a really awesome Crazy Lace. I actually picked up a massive chunk from The Rock Shed which looks identical. This cab came from that same type of chunk: It took me awhile to find the following pic...here's one slice from that chunk. Not the best example...but believe me...yours and mine are nearly identical...

Personally I think the only one of those slabs that is definitely NOT Laguna is the last, which is definitely crazy lace. The rest have a look that in my experience could be any of at least 4 varieties of Mexican Lace from Chihuahua province.
