Time to stock up on stamps. When I owned a business I always bought at least $500.

I'm not sure the post office would be in business these days if it wasn't for spam mail.

Last time there was a postage hike, my regular mail lady quit. She would have mail to us by 2pm at the latest. Now...we have gosh knows who delivering it around 6:30pm...unless there's a package...then it doesn't actually get delivered until the next day...most times!

I see this rate increase is just in time for the traveling box to get to me. ( frown ) I am sure it will still be worth it.

They raise rates so people find alternatives to the mail and the Post Office loses customers. To make up for the losses, the Post Office raises rates and more people find alternatives to the mail and the Post Office loses customers.......
