Oh, I love how it looks but I’m not really a jewelry or bright colors type. I’m more the modest designs and earth tones type, although my material choices (suede, silk, etc) stand out pretty badly in a small town 😆 wear some of the simple wire wrapped earrings I made a decade or so ago, but that’s about it for my blings!

rockjunquie - all stunning, for real. Ok since this is dealers choice, do you have any finished sonora sunrise? I also want to see anything blue with silver because I love that combo to death. That malachite is pretty amazing too. More of that as well. Oh and anything backlit. I know you sold the one, got any other backlit? I'm just being greedy again. I'm so selfish

While I have you here rockjunquie - I have this piece...I first thought it was senora sunrise until I got it wet. Its more parrotwingy color but not sure if parrot wing has cuprite. Can you help with this one?

tribeunited You asked.... Here's ALMOST all my sonora sunrise to date. To truly be called Sonora Sunrise, it should have the 3 colors; blue, red and black. Red is Crimson Cuprite. Blue is Sonoran Chrysocolla.

Ok first - just wow. But that doesn't really suffice for this presentation so lemme explain a bit here. I was trying hard to pick a favorite, which was incredibly difficult. I ended up picking this one... It's so crazy how you turned a senora sunrise into a landscape picture jasper. I've never seen anything like it, it's gorgeous. I kept comparing the small details on the pairs of earrings. Again I was really impressed with how you created two identical pieces with such perfect symmetry! Nuts I say! Now, as you know, the collector I obtained my pieces from was a true sharpie picasso. I have very briefly worked on removing some heavily marked senora by lightly wet sanding. It was very brief, because I quickly saw a red slurry and realized that I was probably being too aggressive. So with my very brief experience, I can see how much skill it would take to work with this stuff...it seems to be softer on the red parts? That very brief lapidary experiment with senora ended with me stopping before I destroyed a lovely rock. Is it difficult to work with? Thanks for sharing these rockjunquie!

Thanks, tribeunited I think the blue in that is azurite. I've only seen it it a couple times.
It is soft, so you need to go slower and it can be difficult to polish.
