I found a couple dozen or so grinding wheels in various boxes and bins. Judging by the labels on them, would guess that they are 40+ years old. If there are no visible chips or fractures, are they safe to use? I know they spent at least 3 years in unheated shelter during Minnesota winters, but don’t know if that affects anything!
Edit: I forgot to mention that I have a hearing disability. I am aware of the “ring test” but it’s not an option for me, hence asking for advice.

Put your safety googles on and spin them up.

Put your safety googles on and spin them up. Haha guess that’s an option… is the potential shattering something that will happen once it gets to speed, or can it happen anytime in the future? And what’s the safest angle to stand at if it DOES explode?!
