I got to peruse the estate of Troy Smith yesterday. He was a member of the Mt Hood Club and collected some of the best materials. A friend is selling it from a storage unit in NE Portland, lots of stuff worth looking at. I currently have a couple videos uploaded and will add 2 more today. There are SFRB boxes of 20 slabs each of mostly texas plume and moss slabs, from Walker and Singleton Ranches and others. They are almost all polished both sides, Troy was very good at polishing. At time of posting my understanding is they will be between $200 and $300 shipped, depending on how many you get. If there is an interest I will very likely take some boxes with me to sell for them, money goes to Troys wife Lenora and some to the club to cover cost of the storage unit. oregon OregonBorn fossilman realrockhound please help me and flag our other NW peeps khara sphereguy really helped out with this one too. Ahh shoot, if I weren't already spoken for this weekend I would come down and take a look for sure. I've been meaning to check out the Mt. Hood club as I would have joined them if I still lived in Gresham. Now, it's a bit of a commute from Kitsap County.

How much for the leaf blower? You mean how much will I pay you to club his kneecaps? He literally blew a cloud of dust and stuff into the storage hallway I was sorting in. |

More boxes. Keep in mind a $300 box is only $15 for each polished slab of material from mostly closed collection sites.
