On a trip to Wyoming I found some stromatolites that had layers of opal (non flash) in them. Some had eroded out and was scattered around and so I picked up enough to make a SFRB of tumbling rough for somebody. I only have one SFRB for now and I'll let it go for $25 and I pay shipping.   |

That source boulder has some nice, interesting texture. I would have pecked away on that myself.

Beautiful! Makes me realize that I need to get used to the idea of opal. There’s a heck of a lot of chalcedony in my area so I assume everything is chalcedony and don’t even consider checking if it’s opal 😆 I would be over the moon to find that!
