Part of the fun of being able to cut again after my long layoff is prowling through my rough boxes and rediscovering stones I'd nearly forgotten about. The other day I ran across some interestingly-colored Tiffany slabs and some rutilated quartz I'd truly forgotten. One piece is bicolored -- something i've never seen before. Thanks for looking. I like the shape of the keystone rutilated best. Nice work.

Beautiful cabs, Rick. I think I like the first Tiffany best. Nice color palette.

Excellent stuff! Thinking the dendritic Tiffany stone is my favorite, sometimes a more basic section helps make other parts pop!
Funny enough I was just thinking I should look into getting some rutilated quartz to mess around with. It doesn't seem as readily available as some other material, I don't think I know of anywhere to get any...

Mine was purchased in the late 90s and it was scarce then.

That's a favorite of mine too. But you cut what the slab will give you. Both Tiffany's with the purple were from the same slab. I like the brown one too -- it's an unusual color and takes a great polish.

Great cabs Rick. I’ll bet that the rutilated quartz really flashes when you roll them around a little. I’d have to say they are my favorites.
Thanks for showing.

Nice cabs, I like the first Tiffany stone best. I do believe that is the most rutilated quartz I've ever seen. Love them. Thanks for sharing.

You're on a roll, Rick! Love them, but the first Tiffany and the Keystone Rutilated are tied for best of show.

You're on a roll, Rick! Love them, but the first Tiffany and the Keystone Rutilated are tied for best of show. You'll love the looks of this Robin! Gemfeller's Album of Awesome Cabsgemfeller - Rick, I love seeing the variety in the Tiffany! That Brown Tiffany is the bomb! The rutile in both of those cabs is borderline INTENSE! Wow!!
