I'm sticking with lepidolite. I had some in the rough and that's what it looked like.

I have a good piece that has green and yellow possibly some pink tourmaline to in it to that I was going to cut & polish but lately it’s just to hot. Here you go free form lepidolite cut & polished

pedolite - sounds like a soft drink for... Obviously I wouldn’t say the names I have for half the material when I’m describing it. But I know you’d get a hell of a laugh. You can take me outta the country, but ya can’t take the country trash outta me 😂.

Thanks rmf - Is that strawberry quartz cousin to the lepidolite the others mentioned? No lepidolite is K(Li,Al)3(Al,Si,Rb)4O10(F,OH)2, the pink color in the strawberry quartz is Iron

From what I know, there is the rare and beautiful strawberry quartz as was posted and another one which is completely different and I THINK is sold as a deception. I don't know where it is from, but it does look a bit more like lepidolite.
eta- a quick youy see and it appears that the other one is mica in quartz. Some (or all) is dyed. A lot from China parts.
