I ordered some poppy jasper slabs from Martin Kramer on Facebook. I worked on two of the slabs; Lions Den and Stony Ford. Both are from Morgan Hill. The other was a heel from the bad Biggs lot. I drew a shape and then started grinding off the matrix. What was left was not very attractive. I could flip it, but it isn't worth the effort. Photo is the bottoms.

You know, it took me a couple of reads to figure which one was the forget it. One mans trash is another mans treasure! I am sure you will make some wonderful looking cabs, can't wait to see where these go.

Stonyford is a small town on Stony Creek above Clear Lake where poppy is found. Is this one different?

They are all great, but that bottom right corner is by far my favorite. That's about as good as it gets in my book.

That's Lions Den and it is a favorite because it is so heavily silicated.
