OK, I am confused about #1. I see this stuff is called Indian Blanket "Jasper" on the internet (not that the internet is always right). But I thought the definition of "jasper" was microscopic quartz grains? This looks more like the grain size of a quartzite?

Agree 100% chris1956, very grainy for a jasper! I'm going to zoom on that for you.

I don't know if it is the rest of the rock or what, but the lower left portion of #3 is amazing.

Thanks for the IDs realrockhound. Is it wrong that I was hoping for a scolding and maybe even a few good slaps?? I feel a little let down now.

chris1956 - I don't know what that part is either. But it's strange enough made me question it being a berber. Did you need a better picture?

No. I just thought it looked very different and I see the pattern he drew on there looked like it would be very good also. Half in the red and half in the white.

thanks pebblesky for the ID - I updated the original with your contribution chris1956 - I get what you're saying. If you notice I mostly show one side of slabs - that's because the other side is always drawn on! Very hard to remove too! I appreciate the input on the cab marks again. I think he knew what he was doing. I found this today, was so cool...to me it says a lot about his ability. A very creative use for Ruby in Fuschite (I think that's what it is)

Ok! We're on a roll today! I updated the original to add your contributions AzRockGeek and pebblesky - Thanks so much! pebblesky - It's really a creative way to cab that out, right? Is it even considered a cab anymore?
